Searchwise provides a range of consulting services. Searchwise's principal consultant, Chris Sherman, works both independently and with a select group of other information industry experts as needed to meet client needs.
Some of the consulting activities we specialize in include:
- Technology Analysis and Assessment. We thoroughly evaluate search technologies, testing strengths and probing for weaknesses. We also provide comparative benchmarking and market analysis based on our knowledge of the many players in the search industry.
- Competitive Intelligence Services. The search space is constantly changing and growing, with new players and products introduced seemingly every day. We maintain an extensive knowledgebase covering the many players in the search industry, their products, services, customers, and business alliances. We can do a one-time or ongoing profile of the competitive landscape your company faces.
- Writing. We also specialize in creating white papers that explain difficult concepts in easy to understand language.
- Workshops. We conduct workshops for small or large groups on all aspects of searching the Web. We will also soon be launching an innovative series of Teleconference/Webcast workshops where participants dial in to the workshop on their phone and participate in real-time using their Web browsers.
- Search Engine Optimization Analysis. We'll take a thorough look at your Web site, investigating any problems and making recommendations for improving your placement with the major search engines. We deliver our recommendations via telephone, and you and your team are free to ask questions and request further help during the consultation. This analysis is for Web site owners who are comfortable optimizing and submitting sites on their own. We do not offer submission services, but can refer you to professionals who can do this for you. Minimum fee for a Web site analysis is $850.
- Telephone Consulting. If you've got questions that don't require extensive consulting, we offer one hour sessions via telephone. The fee for a telephone consultation is $350, payable in advance.
